Extruder

* 4x Bolt - M3 8mm * 1x Nut - Hex M3 * 1x 16mm M8? (or 5/.16“, whatever) threaded rod * 2x Bolt - #6-32 2” * 3x Bolt - #6-32 1“ * 2x Nut - Hex - #6-32

* 1x hobbed bolt * 2x Nut - Hex - 5/16”-18 * 1x ubis hot end

Printed parts: * extruder body, * extruder idler * extruder large gear * extruder small gear

Bridge

Required parts:

linear bearings + zipties LC parts: (all in the “bridge row”)

bolt: 5/16“x31mm (the black one ) 1x 5/16” nut 1x 5/16“ locking nut 2x wide washer 1x skate bearing 2x Fender Washer - 1.25” (strange I have one 1“ and one 1.5” :) )

4x Bolt - #6-32 0.5“ 1xBolt - #6-32 0.75” 1x Bolt - #6-32 1“ (isn't that too short? It hold only on half of the nut) 9x Bolt - #6-32 1.5” 15x nut #6-32 4x #6 washer

5xM3x8mm 1x M3 nut printed pully, motor

endstop !!!!

Step4

LC parts 150, 130, 154, 120,121 (131 not necessary now, but it's easy from this step on) 3x Bolt - #6-32 0.5“ 1x Bolt - #6-32 0.75” 1x Bolt - #6-32 1.5“ 1x #6 washer 5x nut #6-32

X carriage

what about the CRRP( ) and the hexnuts vs. square nuts?

2x lm8uu 4x 35312 Retainer Ring (FIXME do I have the correct english name?) LC parts:173,172, 170,174,171

3x nut #6-32 4x nut #6-32 (square nuts or filed hexnuts, described in text) 1x Bolt - #6-32 0.5” 2x Bolt - #6-32 1.25“ 2x 13_Shaft_8mm 8mm x 13” Smooth Rod

note about square and hexnuts note the position of the hole on the side, tighten the 1/2in bolt after the 1.25in bolt is in place (don't tighten the 1.25in bolt yet)

X-carriage step2

preassembled bridge, preassembled xcarriage stage1 LC parts : 2x 152,2x 153 8x nut #6-32 8x boltBolt - #6-32 1.5“

X-carriage step3

6x nut #6-32

8x boltBolt - #6-32 0.5” 2x boltBolt - #6-32 0.75“ (Brook uses 0.5” in his video, but he mentions (and I recommend) that it's quite short and you can use 0.75“, and washer instead) 2x #6 washer (optional, see above)

extruder assembly bridge with x-carriage base from stage 2

note the length of the bolts for bolting extruder, note the length of the bolts used to both parts of carriage note the removing (or adding after assembled) of the extruder motor discuss the possible ways of assembly

!!! z-endstop

Electronics

4x spacer 4x 1” bolt (or alternatively M3x<something + nut>)

Putting things together

z-rods holes are quite firm.. you need to wiggle and turn the rods while inserting
